Research / An evolving practice

A question.
A method. Evidence.

I work at the boundary between building a system and understanding why it works. These projects are where I develop that practice: through explicit assumptions, useful baselines, and reproducible experiments.

How I approach the work

01

Start with a question.

Define what is uncertain, why it matters, and what evidence would change the answer.

02

Make the baseline count.

Compare against a simpler method. Added complexity has to earn its place.

03

Keep the evidence attached.

Track the source, assumptions, data version, and checks behind a result.

04

Write down what did not work.

Preserve failed attempts and null results so the next experiment starts with more knowledge.

Working toward
the first papers.

My research is in development. This space will hold papers, preprints, experiment reports, and the artifacts needed to inspect the work as they become available.

For now, the project pages introduce the broad areas of interest. Technical details and findings will accompany future releases. The learning journal shares general reflections on research practice.
